Silly Yak Bakery – Gluten Free Bakery

Enjoy the outrageously delicious and varied selection of gluten-free breads and gluten-free desserts. All fresh gluten-free products are made from scratch with only pure, wholesome ingredients (no preservatives).

Holly Beach, founding owner of the Silly Yak Bakery, has been baking gluten-free breads and treats since June of 2002. “The reason I started baking gluten-free was due in part to stubbornness and in part to a passion for baking breads for EVERYONE to enjoy. When I found out how difficult it was to get gluten-free ingredients in bulk, I thought to myself how hard it must be for a person with Celiac disease to deal with obtaining safe and tasty foods on a day-to-day basis. From that point on, I was determined to make it work!”

Initially the Silly Yak Bakery dedicated one day per week to gluten-free baking. As Holly and crew started getting up earlier and earlier to bake, they soon realized that we needed to add a second gluten-free bake day. Thus gluten-free Tuesdays were begun!

Holly has made her dream of a full-time certified gluten-free baking facility a reality. They now bake gluten-free products daily! Stop in for a tour of the new facility.
